Although I am too modest to refer to myself as “Lord Byron,” Moose and Jody call me this because they know of my unspoken greatness.
They know that I rule the night, just as sure as the sun will rise to Moose and Jody in the morning.
When I’m not taking care of my Beach 104 listeners from 7-Midnight, I am all over the place. I paint, I play lead guitar in my local band, ¾ Slug, and I go body boarding. I really dig good music, like 311, Outkast, Frank Zappa, Queens of the Stone Age, Jimi Hendrix & Mr. Bungle (to name a few). There’s little time in my schedule for TV, but I’m usually watching football( go Steelers!!!) or hockey( go ‘Canes!!) and I like a good scary movie now and then. Usually, I’m around town, at one of the local hangouts with my girl. You never know what kind of girl you’ll see me with, either. Let’s see…there’s that girl that paints with me sometimes, the hot little groupie that’s always at my ¾ Slug shows (most practices, too) and the business woman (she’s really got it together). I also have a girl who’s my best bud...I can be a guy around her. Oh yeah, the country chic in the cowgirl hat, too. Yeee Haww! You see, with my eccentric ego, I need numerous female personalities to compliment mine. So, it’s either date a bunch of girls or find one who’s whacked out enough to have multiple personas. If there’s a girl out there who fits all of these descriptions, you can bet she’ll be wearing my ring.
I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10. I have played with local bands, such as Manday Huge, Miyagi’s Army and EZ and the Heat. I’ve traveled with these musicians all over the Southeastern US. We’ve played every where from South Florida to New Orleans to Washington DC…and of course, I’ve played all over the OBX.
For anyone who thinks I’m just some FREAK here at the controls in the Beach 104 studio, you’re right!!!! Oh yeah… I studied audio engineering at Full Sail Real World Education from 1996-1999. It’s one of the top engineering schools in the US, in Orlando, Florida. Thank you very much.
