The Outer Banks captured my heart in March of 2006
when I moved here from upstate New York.
The community, the history and the gorgeous weather
convinced me to officially name the beach
my "adopted hometown."
Although I miss my family and friends
(and the huge amounts of snow)
I love living on the OBX, hurricanes and all!
