Meet a mustang every Wednesday, May 27 to Sept. 9, at the Corolla Wild Horse Fund’s rescue and rehab farm.
The farm (known as the Betsy Dowdy Equine Center), located on the mainland in Grandy, will be open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We look forward to spending time with many of our members and meeting those interested in knowing more about Currituck’s wild herd,” the CWHF said in a news release. “We’ll provide updates on current projects, goals, the wild herd, and the Fund but primarily you’ll spend time up close with rescued mustangs!”
While visiting, shop for CWHF branded merchandise, all proceeds go directly to the care of the horses.
A suggested donation of $10 per vehicle goes directly to the care of the horses.
Call/check the CWHF website before heading over. When caring for wild and recuse horses, situations can occur changing the best well-laid plans!
