The Hatteras Hammers land based Shark Fishing Team has done it again. Bryan Lester of Hatteras Style Custom Rods and Tackle in Buxton reported during a recent Captain Marty’s Extended Edition of the Other Side of Fishing (heard each Saturday morning from 6:30 to 8:30 on Beach104) that the group caught a 12.5 foot Greater Hammerhead Shark north of the Point. The fight lasted 45 minutes and the large creature was released back into the ocean.
