Dare County reports 20 new COVID-19 cases Saturday

Dare County health officials reported 20 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, for a total of 1,153 since testing began in March. Of those, 94 cases are active among Dare County residents, with 10 people hospitalized.

The latest cases come as North Carolina reported a new daily record of 6,018 cases of COVID-19, and warned that more coronavirus-related restrictions may be necessary.

Health officials provided the following information about the latest cases:
