This summer, for one night only, Downtown Books and the Dare County Arts Council will be welcoming not one but two Summer Beach Queens to the Outer Banks!


On Monday, June 27, New York Times best-selling author Mary Kay Andrews and her author pal Jamie Brenner will be appearing at the Arts Council for some beachin’ talk about writing, life and of course, their books.

A founder of the uber-popular Friends & Fiction group which now includes a weekly Facebook program, podcast, Parade magazine article and book club, Mary Kay is the author of 29 books and she landed on the New York Times best-seller list again for five weeks with her latest, The Homewreckers.
