VusicOBX is stoked to announce the Good Vibes Summer Tour coming Roanoke Island Festival Park in 2023. The concert will take place on Thursday, June 22, starting at 6 p.m. where a killer line-up is in the works to you moving and grooving all night long. Rebelution will be headlining the tour with special guests Iration, The Expendables, Passafire & DJ Mackle.
Details surrounding the line-up for the 2023 Good Vibes Summer Tour are as follows:
Founded in Isla Vista, CA, Rebelution has followed their instincts since the release of their breakout 2007 debut, Courage To Grow. Rebelution’s transcendent live performances, meanwhile, have earned the group sell-out headline shows everywhere from Red Rocks to The Greek Theatre, along with festival slots at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL, Glastonbury, and more
Iration has a natural affinity for reggae and island sounds AND THIS IS THEIR FIRST TIME ON THE OUTER BANKS! Their love and appreciation for music spans across a wide range of styles and genres including rock, pop, R&B and funk. The Hawaiian-bred musicians look forward to spreading their original sound and ‘Aloha spirit’ all the while never forgetting to get a surf in when possible.
The Expendables was formed in 1997 by elementary school buddies Geoff Weers on vocals and guitar, Raul Bianchi on lead guitar and Adam Patterson on drums. Their music is a diverse mix of styles, including reggae, ska, surf rock, punk, and metal.
Passafire’s single, Keepin’ On, serves as a mission statement for the veteran rock-reggae outfit as they continue to forge ahead through their second decade of reimagining the boundaries of the current rock-reggae landscape.
DJ Mackle will be keeping us grooving, spinning some positive vibes in between sets.
