Kelly’s 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Parade set for March 19

Kelly’s 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Parade will be held on Sunday, March 19 at 1 p.m. in Nags Head.

The 2023 Grand Marshall’s are Outer Banks Dare Challenge.

The mission here at Outer Banks Dare Challenge is to help people who have life-controlling problems and initiate the discipleship process to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society, applying spiritually motivated Biblical principle to relationships in the family, local church, chosen vocation and the community. Dare Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.

The parade route runs from Bladen St. north to Driftwood St. on Beach Road (Virginia Dare Trail) for approx 1 mile. Prizes for Best Overall; Best Float; Best Unit; and Best Band/Music group will be awarded this year following the parade.

The parade has grown over the years to include more than 120 participants and crowds have grown to 10,000, making it the largest St. Patrick’s Parade in Eastern North Carolina.
