The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, for the south end of Elizabeth City Street at its intersection with W. Durham Street, for utility and roadway improvements by Fred Smith Company.
Through traffic on Elizabeth City Street will be prohibited during this work. Local traffic may use Norfolk Street to Suffolk Street to detour around the closure.
Elizabeth City Street will remain open from the north for access to adjacent properties.
The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 4:30 p.m.
