The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday April 5, 2023, for the South end of Norfolk Street at its intersection with Durham Street, for utility and roadway improvements by Fred Smith Company.
Through traffic on Norfolk News Street will be prohibited during this work. Local traffic may use Newport News Street or Elizabeth City Street to Suffolk Street to detour around the closure. Norfolk Street will remain open from the North for access to adjacent homes.
The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday April 5, 2023
