The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, for West Durham Street at its intersection with Newport News Street, for utility and roadway improvements by Fred Smith Company.
Through traffic on W. Durham Street will be prohibited during this work. Local traffic may use Norfolk Street from the east or Smithfield Street from the west to Suffolk Street to detour around the closure.
Durham Street will remain open from the east and west of the closure for access to adjacent homes.
The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
