On April 14, 2023 at approximately 4:51 pm, Deputies working the C-District conducted a traffic stop on NC Hwy 12 near the Basnight Bridge, Nags Head, NC.
The vehicle was searched after an investigation and an amount of Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized.
Nora Nicole Leach, 50, was arrested and charged with (F) Possession of Methamphetamine, (M) Possession of Marijuana, (M) Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia and cited for Speeding and No Operator’s License. Leach was given a $5,000 secured bond.

On April 15, 2023, at approximately 7:17 pm, Deputies working the A-District conducted a traffic stop on NC Hwy 158 near Neptune St in Kill Devil Hills, NC.
During the stop, a K9 was deployed and alerted to the presence of a controlled substance. The vehicle was searched and an amount of Methamphetamine, Alza Medication, Drug Paraphernalia and a handgun were located and seized.
Ronald Lee Harris Jr, 59, Courtland, Va, was arrested and charged with (F) Possession of Methamphetamine, (M) Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and (M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Harris was given a $6,500 secured bond. The Driver, Brittney Bradshaw, F/24, Jacksonville, NC, was cited for (M) Possession of Concealed Handgun and released.

On April 15, 2023, at approximately 10:26 pm, Deputies working the A-District conducted a vehicle stop at Eighth Street and NC Hwy 158, Kill Devil Hills, NC.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested for (M) No Operator’s License and (M) Drug Paraphernalia. Once at the jail the driver was searched and an amount of Methamphetamine was located and seized.
Michael Thomas Adams, 52, Roanoke Island, NC, was also charged with (F) Possession of Methamphetamine on a Jail Premise. Adams was given a $8,000 secured bond.
