Tail Waggin’ Tuesday: June 13, 2023

Tail Waggin’ Tuesday: June 13, 2023

Are you in search of the perfect fur-ever friend? A new addition to the family, perhaps? OBX Today in partnership with the Outer Banks SPCA is proud to present “Tail Waggin’ Tuesdays.”

Each Tuesday, browse our provided selection of videos and images and follow along as we showcase a variety of pets that are currently awaiting adoption at our local animal shelter.

This week’s featured pets are Midas, Reed, Tank, Lady, and Mr. Bubbles.

Midas
Midas was adopted from the shelter as a kitten but was unfortunately returned. Midas may need dental care later on, but right now it does not cause him any issues. Midas is full of personality and loves toys! Midas is very social and could go into the home with another cat or even a dog.

Reed
Reed was found as a stray and was never reclaimed. The shelter knows Reed was previously owned because he is very gentle, walks great on the leash, and knows basic commands. Reed is house trained and likes to play with everyone of all ages and could go home with another dog.

Tank
Tank is about three years old and was adopted from our shelter about two years ago and was sadly returned due to no fault of his own. Tank would love to go into the home with a family who enjoys the outside as much as he does! Tank loves riding in the car, is completely house trained, and can go home with another dog!

Lady
Lady is about two years old and was surrendered with her litter of puppies. Now that her puppies have been adopted, it’s her turn! Lady loves all of the attention she can get. Her favorite thing to do is give hugs. Lady is very food motivated and is so deserving of a good home. Before coming into the shelter she had minimum interaction with her family and was left roaming around outside. Lady can go into the home with another dog or even a cat.

Mr. Bubbles
Mr. Bubbles was surrendered into the SPCA’s care about a week ago due to no fault of his own. His previous family’s living situation changed and they could no longer care for him. He is handsome and he knows it and we love his personality. Mr. Bubbles could go into the home with another cat and is very easy going and loves attention!

To adopt Midas, Reed, Tank, Lady, Mr. Bubbles, or any of the other shelter animals, visit the Outer Banks SPCA Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or give them a call at 252-475-5620.
