Following the nomination round, the official voting period will commence on Monday, October 16, 2023, and will conclude on Thursday, November 2, 2023. The winners will be announced shortly after the voting window closes.
Last year, we were overwhelmed by your support for your Outer Banks favorites, with more than 49,000 ballots and over half a million individual votes cast for restaurants, shops, bartenders, gift shops, fishing charters, surf schools, and many more.
Nomination and voting guidelines:
- Nominate or vote in as many or as few categories and sub-categories as you like. Maximum of one vote per person per sub-category per day.
- To submit a nomination, simply write it in in the appropriate category (please ensure accurate spelling).
- Nominations will be reviewed for accuracy and to ensure they are located on the Outer Banks before being added to the ballot; this process can take up to one business day.
