Each Tuesday, browse our provided selection of videos and images and follow along as we showcase a variety of pets that are currently awaiting adoption at our local animal shelter.
This week’s featured pets are Hockey, Lambchop, Ruby, Hachako, Cutie, Yahtzee, Uno, and Rita. Verbiage is provided by shelter manager Leann Saunders:
Hockey
Hockey is about 7 years old. Sadly the home Hockey was in was not healthy for the animals anymore and his previous owner was seeking medical assistance. Hockey is currently being treated for her skin condition and we can’t wait for her to start feeling better. Hockey previously lived with other dogs and cats.
Lambchop
Ruby is about 4 years old and was adopted from here as a 6 week old puppy. We found a temporary foster home for Ruby but sadly she is coming back because it did not work out but we are still remaining hopeful for her. The shelter is not good for Ruby as she just hides and shakes. We are trying to find a home with no other pets that is calm and can take the time she needs to adjust.
Hachako
Hachako is about 2 years old and was brought into our care as a stay. He previously lived with a small dog and was around children. He loves to be outside and walks great on the leash!
Cutie, Yahtzee, Uno, and Rita
Cutie, Yahtzee, Uno, and Rita are all fun-loving estimated estimated to be about two months old. They are currently available for adoption and would make the perfect addition to any family.
