Commemorate the start of the holiday season and spend an evening in the Christmas-themed Historic Corolla Village with a previously wild Banker horse! Riptide is a four-year-old stallion who was removed from the wild as a colt due to a serious infection requiring life-saving treatment. Get up close with Riptide while our Director of Herd Management, Meg Puckett, talks about the wild horses of Corolla and the Corolla Wild Horse Fund’s work to protect these creatures.
The Corolla Wild Horse Fund Museum and Gift Shop will also be open along with many other local merchants as we kick off Christmas in Corolla in the historic district.
