Are you in search of the perfect fur-ever friend? A new addition to the family, perhaps? OBX Today in partnership with the Outer Banks SPCA is proud to present “Tail Waggin’ Tuesdays.”
Each Tuesday, browse our provided selection of videos and images and follow along as we showcase a variety of pets that are currently awaiting adoption at our local animal shelter.
This week’s featured pets are Kane, Bella & Oakley, Thelma & Louise, Bear, and Waylen. Verbiage is provided by shelter manager Leann Saunders:
Kane
Kane is about three years old and was brought into our care from KDH Animal Control after being brought in as a stray and sadly never reclaimed. Kane is house trained, loves his dog bed, and gets along great with other animals! He is a big lap dog and can’t wait to find his forever home!
Bella and Oakley were surrendered into our care together after being brought in a stray and the owner did not want them back. Bella is about four years old and Oakley is about two years old. Bella was adopted from our care as a puppy. Both are house trained, get along with other animals, and previously lived with kids!
Thelma and Louise
Thelma and Louise were surrendered into the KDH Animal Control facility and transferred into our care to help get them adopted. They do love each other but we are not requiring that they have to go home together. They love to be outside, walk great on the leash, and are the perfect size!
