This month, College of The Albemarle is set to present What a Wonderful World: A Tribute to Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.
In this tribute, world-renowned trumpet virtuoso and vocalist Longineu Parsons joins forces with Tina Fabrique, known for her award-winning portrayal of Ella Fitzgerald in “Ella” as well as for being the beloved voice of the original theme for “Reading Rainbow.” Backed by a world-class band, they perform romantic favorites from Louis and Ella and their biggest hits!
“What a Wonderful World” is scheduled for February 14, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at COA – Elizabeth City, in the Performing Arts Center, 1208 N. Road Street.
