Fred Smith Company is working a standard five-day work schedule. Construction activities will now take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The base layer of asphalt has been completed on NC-12 and crews are working to prepare for sidewalk construction with grading and fill. This prep work is expected to take about two weeks, followed by the pouring of concrete for the sidewalks.
