The Town of Manteo is excited to announce that residents and businesses now have more options and improved account access when paying utility bills online. The Town’s new online payment portal is live as March 1, 2024.
We heard the community loud and clear when online utility payment improvements were requested and are thrilled to offer these new services to our community. Now, residents and businesses using the new online payment portal have the ability to set up automated, re-occurring utility bill payments via credit card and e-check. Users will have access to detailed utility bill statements and can update their account information as well as set reminders for timely payments. The new portal offers a more user-friendly interface, improving the overall online payment experience for our community.
Because it is a new platform, all users who wish to pay their utility payments online may enroll in the service on the online payment portal by creating a username and password. Also, there is a “Pay Now” option that does not require an account login for those who wish to not enroll in the service. Customers will be prompted to enter their account number, including the dashes, and their billing zip code. Once an account is set up, users can add additional utility accounts (using the same login and password) and establish recurring pay options for those accounts as well.
