It’s true, it’s true, the Soundside Market is back for year two! After an extremely successful first run in 2023 the Soundside Market will return to the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head for a second summer starting on June 19.
Returning patrons will notice a couple of major changes to the Soundside Market’s scheduling in year two. First off the Soundside Market will be held weekly (every Wednesday) as opposed to bi-weekly as it occurred in 2023. The second major change is timing. This year, the Soundside Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., moving their opening and closing times up 1 hour from last year.
The core of the Soundside Market’s summer season will run for the next 10 weeks or so. Starting on June 19 and running through August 14. The Market will then take two weeks off before returning for one final summer show over Labor Day Weekend, on Sunday September 1 (also 9 AM to 1 PM).
The Market is looking to build upon many major successes over the last year. Starting with an incredible inaugural summer season in 2023 which built into a raucous, though ‘weather-challenged’, Holiday season and then peaked with their most successful market to date on Easter weekend in March of 2024.
In 2024 the Soundside Market will continue to go above and beyond bringing not only the best and brightest local vendors and makers they can find, but also bringing the fun! From cornhole to giant Connect 4 to bubbles to Make & Take Kids Crafts to jammin’ tunes to food trucks to fresh produce to a coffee trailer the Soundside Market aspires to be more than just a market. But rather an event with a market. Soundside Market prides itself on bringing not only the shopping but also the fun to all guests and patrons.
