On August 6, 2024, at approximately 7:10 pm, Dare County Sheriff’s Office, A District, conducted a traffic stop in the 6900 block of Hwy 158 in Nags Head, NC. During the stop probable cause was established to search the vehicle and an amount of Cocaine, Psilocybin Mushrooms, Marijuana, and Paraphernalia were located and seized.
Drake Eric Hermann, 28, Hampton, VA, was arrested and charged with (F) Possession of a Scheduled I and II Controlled Substance and received a $30,000 secured bond. Hermann was also cited for the Possession of (M) Marijuana and (M) Marijuana Paraphernalia.
Elizabeth Anne Saunders, 39, of West Point, VA, was arrested and charged with (F) Possession of a Scheduled I Controlled Substance and given a $7,500 secured bond. Saunders was also cited for the (M) Possession of Marijuana, (M) Marijuana Paraphernalia, and (M) Drug Paraphernalia.
