Ladles Soups, the locally-owned and operated restaurant that served more than 400 made-from-scratch soup recipes along the Outer Banks, has announced that they are shutting down.

On Wednesday, the establishment took to their official Facebook page to share the news, writing:

Hello Everyone!
The time has come for us to say goodbye. Today will be our last day of business. Since December 2014, we have ladled our way through the years serving our wonderful Outer Banks community that has never let us down and we thank you for all of your support, as well as our friends that have come from near and far to visit us while they vacation here, we thank you! Thank you to the many employees and vendors that helped us along the way. And thank you Vick we couldn’t have started this venture without you! Thank you to the Ladles Franchise for the opportunity. And mostly thank you Family for your hard work and dedication through all these years, you are simply the best!! Have a Souper Day!!!!
Ladles Soups was located at 1901 S Croatan Highway.
