Dare County Schools took to social media Wednesday to announce that Coach Ray Scott will become the namesake of the First Flight High School baseball field.
“As FFHS’ first baseball coach and former Athletic Director, Coach Scott’s dedication and passion shaped not only the athletic program but the entire school community,” states the Facebook post. “His legacy continues to inspire, and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of this special recognition.”
