On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual reverse raffle at Jennette’s Pier from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
“The costumes were fantastic, the food was spectacular, and our raffle finalists decided to split the $10,000 prize,” stated the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce proudly in a Wednesday social media post.
With a nostalgic “I Love Lucy” theme, a direct callback to the 1950s television series of the same name, the 2024 installment saw attendees donning red wigs and costumes with nods to beloved comedian and television icon Lucille Ball during her time on the show.
Among the evening’s winners for the concurrent “The Great Taste” event included Jolly Roger (Best Entree), Best Booth (Outer Banks Health), and Pigman’s BBQ (People’s Choice).
