Corolla Beach Cletus was raring to go when he spoke with Moose and Jody this morning on Beach104. He noted there had been an incident of a vehicle driving over a dune. Signs throughout the area indicate dune driving is forbidden. Cletus reminded listeners to air down their tires and leave the horses alone when driving over the Currituck Outer Banks Sands. Water can also pose a challenge to motorists. The Corolla Beach Idiots page has displayed numerous vehicles who met a wet demise. Cletus also said driving through salt water tidal pools can cause some serious damage to a vehicle in the long term.
